The Flare and Flare Labs teams are participating in or hosting four blockchain events across Paris between the 16th and 19th of July. We will be exploring how decentralized data access at scale and negligible cost can expand the utility of blockchain and help support the machine learning economy.
DeFi Security Summit Panel – Can blockchain bridges be secure?
Date: 16th July, 14:40 // Location: Maison de la Chimie
This panel at the DeFi Security Summit will be moderated by Mudit Gupta, CISO of Polygon. Hugo will be joined by Irene Wu, Head of Strategy at LayerZero Labs, Robert Chen, CEO of OtterSec and others.
EthCC Side Event – Eat / Drink [Code] + Connect at the Flare Café
Date: 18th July, 11:00-16:00 // Location: On application
If you are in Paris and don’t have a ticket for EthCC, you can still attend this side event. It’s a builder focused event in a delightful Parisian café, hosted by the Flare and Flare Labs teams.
This is a great opportunity to experience first-hand the Layer 1 that expands the utility of blockchain. With decentralized oracles built into the structure of the network, learn how Flare helps builders harness price & time series data, blockchain event & state data, and web2 API data – all at scale and negligible cost.
EthCC Workshop – Mint DeFi NFTs on Ethereum with real-time, insured-in-transit bridging from Flare.
Date: 19th July, 13:20 // Location: Maison de la Mutualité, Building B, Versailles Stage
This workshop will showcase new insured-in-transit bridging and cross network composability technology being developed by Flare Labs. The team will show how we can utilize the bridge to trustlessly transfer ERC20 tokens to Sepolia, automatically adding the tokens to a Uniswap pool and creating an NFT that allows them to be withdrawn on demand.
EthCC Keynote – Expanding blockchain utility: decentralized data provision as a public good.
Date: 19th July, 16:25 // Location: Maison de la Mutualité, Building M, Room Saint Victor
Hugo will take to the EthCC stage to discuss how Flare is the first smart contract platform to focus on natively providing data at scale in a decentralized manner. He will look at existing blockchain use cases which are enhanced with this increased level of data availability on-chain, plus new use cases which now become possible, including how Flare can help support the machine learning economy.
