FIP.05 covers three important updates as part of Flare’s transition to proof of stake.

Full detail on all of the proposed changes can be found on the Governance Proposals Repository and a brief summary is provided below. Wrap your FLR by 31 August to participate in the voting process. Voting will commence shortly after this date on the Flare Portal.

The measures included in FIP.05 to support the transition to proof of stake are:

1. Implementing necessary infrastructure services.
2. Modifying the current staking limits.
3. Increasing the portion of inflation destined to validation rewards.
