Following successful testing on Songbird, FIP.04 proposes updating the price pairs provided by the Flare Time Series Oracle on Flare. The goal is to better match the current and expected data needs of developers on the network.

The Flare Time Series Oracle delivers highly-decentralized price and data feeds to dapps on Flare without relying on centralized providers. There are currently 12 price pairs available, calculated against USD: ADA, ALGO, BCH, BTC, DGB, DOGE, ETH, FIL, LTC, SGB, XLM & XRP.

FIP.04 recommends adding 8 new higher demand price pairs (ARB, AVAX, BNB, MATIC, SOL, USDC, USDT & XDC), and removing two pairs in lower demand (BCH & DGB).
