What does the integration mean for the Flare DeFi Ecosystem?

DeFi participants on Flare now have access to the powerful tools offered by Rubic thanks to the integration. Rubic also fits into the grander vision of Flare’s growing DeFi hub and complements the existing ecosystem well. Notably, Rubic has aggregated:

• Stargate as a cross-chain swap provider.
• 3 DEXs on Flare as on-chain swap providers. The 3 DEXs are Blazeswap, Ēnosys, and SparkDEX. Users can get the best rate of swapping across these dexes.
• Cross-chain swaps in 1-click available soon.

Flare users can simply connect their wallets on the Rubic dapp, then select their source network and desired cryptocurrency. Users would then select “Flare” as their target chain, then set the token they’d like to receive. Once the user enters the amount they would like to swap, Rubic will automatically find the best rate for the swap, and also mark which provider the swap will be routed through.

For instance, the below example shows how simple it would be to swap USDT from BNB Chain to USDT on Flare. It also shows Stargate as the provider with which the swap will be routed. Simply choose the option with the best rate among the providers list, and you’re all set.
