New Flarescan Ecosystem Explorer To Be Launched By The Team Behind Avascan

Blockchain for data, Flare, today announced a new partnership with the team behind the Avascan Block Explorer.

Together, they will launch Flarescan, a comprehensive explorer for the Flare ecosystem, incorporating all the key features that made Avascan so popular. Flarescan will be available as an Ecosystem Explorer on the Routescan block explorer platform, and via flarescan.com.

Flarescan will enable easy access to a wealth of data across all Flare networks: the Flare and Songbird mainnets as well as the Coston and Coston2 testnets. Users will be able to view transaction histories and balances of addresses, trace the flow of tokens, monitor network health, and examine the network block by block.

Flarescan’s holistic view of the Flare ecosystem means that both the C-Chain, where the majority of transactions occur, and the P-Chain, pivotal for staking activities, will be seamlessly accessible to developers.

It is detailed and user-friendly, providing everything from broad network statistics to granular transactions alongside graphs for better data visualization. A key aspect of Flarescan is its verification process, denoted by a check mark on verified contracts, ensuring the accuracy of displayed information.

Flarescan will launch on October 16th with full support for C-Chain and basic support for P-Chain and live staking analytics. Full support for P-Chain and historic staking analytics will be available in November.

A developer API will also be available to enable builders to easily integrate blockchain data into their applications.

Hugo Philion, Co-Founder and CEO of Flare, expressed the company’s commitment to making the ecosystem as accessible as possible. He stated, “Flare is committed to providing builders with a quality development experience, and the block explorer is a very important part of that. Flarescan will be accessible to everyone while also providing the in-depth insights that developers require.”

Giacomo Barbieri, a representative of the Avascan team, hinted at the future plans for the partnership, saying: “Flarescan is the next step in Avascan’s journey in servicing blockchain developers with a high-quality explorer that will continuously improve on features, speed and user and developer experience.”
