Flare is officially live on Dune.
With Flare’s integration on Dune, developers, traders, and community members can now harness Dune’s suite of powerful data tools to better explore the Flare blockchain and its growing ecosystem of dApps and DeFi protocols.
Flare users can start with Dune today to analyze key metrics across the network. Kinetic, SparkDEX, and Sceptre are among the inaugural Flare-based dApps with their own dashboards already on Dune.
What can Flare users do on Dune?
Dune empowers users to utilize a wide array of tools to track and analyze on-chain metrics such as transaction count, block confirmations, the number of active addresses, total value locked (TVL), and transaction fees—metrics that collectively provide a clear picture of network performance.
Dune has created great educational content. Check out this full video series on Dune 101, as well as a dedicated Flare Documentation page on how to get started.
Here are some highlights of the available dashboard:
- Network Activities
Get an overview of on-chain metrics that reflect network performance, such as transaction count, active addresses, and gas fees. - Ecosystem Growth
Discover top protocols, active contracts, and active addresses on Flare to identify trends.
By learning how to use Dune, Flare users will be able to:
1. Keep track of decentralized data flows
Flare users can use Dune to analyze data flows across the Flare ecosystem. By examining delegation and staking metrics, users gain a more in-depth view of the security levels that Flare provides for its data feeds.
2. Monitor key metrics
Access metrics that include smart contract interactions, wallet adoption, and token movement to empower developers and users in monitoring trends on Flare.
3. Analyze cross-chain activity
Analyze activity happening cross-chain, such as liquidity flowing from major chains like Ethereum or Arbitrum into Flare. Flare is incorporated into Stargate, enabling liquidity to flow freely from more than 25 chains.
Why Dune?
Dune is a leading data analytics platform on a mission to “make crypto data accessible.” Known for its user-generated content platform for blockchain data analytics, Dune democratizes access to on-chain data by enabling users to query, visualize, and share insights across various blockchains. With over 700,000 community-contributed data tables, Dune supports comprehensive analysis of tokens, wallets, protocols, and more.
“The ability to visualize on-chain data empowers users to tell compelling stories about blockchain ecosystems. Incorporating Dune into Flare’s ecosystem adds an essential layer of credibility, transparency, and community-driven analytics that will help drive innovation on Flare.” — Hugo Philion, Co-founder of Flare and CEO of Flare Labs
What’s next?
Flare will also be launching a bounty designed to incentivize community co-creation.
The bounty program, called ‘Illuminate Flare,’ invites data enthusiasts to showcase their analytics skills by creating dashboards that explore the Flare ecosystem. Participants who best highlight key metrics, promote data transparency, and help the Flare community better understand network performance will be eligible for prizes.
In the meantime, explore the Kinetic, SparkDEX, and Sceptre dashboards that are now available on Dune. If you’re experienced or eager to dive in, start creating your own dashboards today on Dune.
